Default Any Lone Ranger fans out there?

I was searching for Wostenholmes tonight and I came across this. Thought it might be of interest to someone who is more of a movie buff than I.

JH LONE RANGER OWNED ANTIQUE WOSTENHOLM & SONS I-XL STRAIGHT RAZOR | eBay

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I don't know whether the story or proof is true or not...

But this is probably the 10th razor I have seen sold this exact same way over the last 3 years...
They were brought to my attention when I restored one sometime back, so if you are tempted to bid make sure to ask a ton of questions..

And there you have one of the main reasons why I'd never bid on something like that! A) I don't really care about the cult of celebrity and B) it's awfully tough to authenticate something like that across the interwebs.

These razors were owned by John Hart who was a stand-in for Clayton Moore during a labor dispute one season. I understand Hart was a collector and owned many razors and these are what is being sold off after he died a few years ago.

I bought one quite some time ago from his estate. It came with plenty of paperwork to show it was genuinely his. It's a very good shaver. I've still got it in the collection.

Not just a celebrity razor, but a celebrity scab razor!!
