Send classicshaving an email asking abot
how long it should take. I'm sure the
Holidays are having some effect though.

Get the tracking number if they didn't send it to you in advance. I only ordered from them once and they were so professional that they could have done that automatically. Review your e-mail.

Terry, it's more about having experienced certain shipping/receiving difficulties and it getting me thinking about tracking numbers, spy satellites and psychics due to the sheer frustration

I suppose I'm fortunate in that regard. Never really
had a problem. But I've never ordered anything
    from another country either.

As far a shipping between the US and Canada though,
I think that the border should be basically like another
    state or province.

Tell that to Rev Canada and Canada Post. Right now I'm ready to go postal on them. There are people waiting for the abrasive powder from Keith that got shipped out on the 17th and it's not here yet. Just e-mailed Keith go get the number lol.

Canada Post treats shipments the same way whether they're from Afganistan or Alabama.

Canada Post also owns a courier company (Purolator) and I swear they do things to drive business to the more profitable courier side. Want insurance of more than $100, then you have to ship by Purolator; want to track, then you have to ship by Purolator; want to ship after-shave or cologne, then you have to ship by Purolator.

In terms of the cost difference, I paid $7.5 to ship two razors to Gary in NZ, the same parcel would have cost $45 to ship by Purolator.

    Crazy!

Just my rant for the day!

I'm within 200 miles of Classic Shaving, in California, and receive orders within a couple of days. I've received items from U.K. within 8 days.

My order has taken 10 from placement to delivery here in the UK (and that included an item which had to be personalised).

    Good Service!
