Dubl duck flood
Anyone else notice all the dubl ducks on ebay right now? I looked through only about 5 pages and there were atleast 15-20 listings for them. Four reapers (which I thought to be pretty rare to see). So is everyone trying to just offload their stock all at once?

dubl duck sold a lot of razors, so there is always a bunch of them for sale, just like w&b
although multiple reapers at the same time is unusual
speaking of which I haven't used my ducks in a while, I think it's time for me to do a week of quackers

Yea speaking of ebay i find it annoying when people label
them as good investments at 500 bucks a pop.
they are horrible inventments folks just don't have alot of money to buy them.
If some wants it and willing to spend that kind of money it's worth that.
but a investment they are not.

I only saw one reaper and that is not "the" one. A slue of goldedges. Good shavers but not worth anywhere near the high dollars some of them bring ..... IMHO ....... based on shaving with quite a few of the 'rare' ones.

I have one goldedge dubl duck that I purshased from vintagebladesllc that is in excellent shape, a 6/8 square point, gold on the tang and tail, and blue in the stamp, and was reasonably priced. I use it about once a week, as I have seven razors, all of which I use. In the end, it's just a razor, and as noted, there are lots of them out there.

Yes, I agree they are nice looking; I have never shaved with one personally so I can't comment on the steel quality, but the $200+ dollar price tags just blew me away. I mean the darker yellow the scales the closer they are to completly degrading; that in and of itself turned me off honestly, since most of the value is in the scales, it's like watching your car fall apart piece by piece but not selling cause you think the trade in value will go up b/c it's a certain model.

Yes they are all razors and all really the same but once you get one it's YOUR'S and there is then none other in the world like it and it's special. You take care of it and it will take care of you. Some day it may save your life.

It (They) have certainly save my face, although I'm not sure that's worth $200.00 either.
