I hope no one here was bidding on this
There should be enough stuff here to keep my restoring hobby going for quite a LONG time!
My gf is going to kill me when she sees themOh well, it works out at £1.90 each, but she'll still kill me.
I like the one with three pins (wood I think), hope there's not too much damage to that one.
Right, no more buying any more razors for a very long time!
Regards,
Steven

It would be good to see a greatest hits when you actually get your hands on them. Or a top 3 bottom 3

Thanked: 79Steven,
looks like a lot of work to restore some of those, some are likely already total losses. It will be interesting though, to see which ones are not...
which makes this fun.

Thanked: 13Well, I hope that about 3 of the blades are useless, but that their scales are useful, as I need a few scales because of some other ones that I broke. (while trying to restore some different blades

Thanked: 13Well, got my razors today, and I have to say they are better then I throught , though not all of them
Most of them (about 90%) are solingen razors(I didn't have a single one before this). It has SOLINGEN etched into one side of the blade, and has GARANTIE ingraved into the tang on the same side (sorry I can't get a picture by my digital camera is sh
t at taking close up pictures.
Was woundering if anyone has a blade like these?
Most of the rust is on the spine, so I should be able to keep the etching on most of the blades. But, some of the blades have rust on the etching so I think I will loose it on some. Also, some of the blades have major rust on the edge so going to use the scales for other blades where I broke the scales
BTW, I was thinking of using Kroil to get rid of the rust (as per mentioned in a privious question I asked), but I was woundering if this would get rid of the etching on the blade?

Steven
