IMHO, based on my years of experience..... if you just wipe it clean with a tissue after your shave. Strop it on leather only for 20 or so round trips, put it in a dry environment, it will be fine. That tang/pivot ain't rusting through if it was another 100 years.

I mean, this is one remarkably smooth-shaving razor. I am honestly not sure shaving can go any smoother than this, and this is coming from someone with quite sensitive skin.
One minus point of this specific razor is the oxidation at the pivot: every time I oil it and then open and close it, some dark material comes out here (i.e. some oxidized metal seeps out with the oil). Should I be worried about this?
