Thanked: 3222I have been watching that auction too. It was previously listed at $625.00 and did not sell but was immediately relisted at $575.00. I would look at the second photo in the top row and check the heel on the blade 2nd from the left and also the toe on the blade 5th from the left. I may or may not be seeing things.

And the toe has been rounded on the one between the 4 and 5. I am glad I posted this as I was almost considering this.

Thanked: 3222That is why I mentioned it. I have made plenty of mistakes buying used razors in the short time I have been into straights but they weren't anywhere near that price range. I gotta slow down and be more critical of what I am looking at.

Thanked: 31Zero bids. I guess people weren't that interested, at least not for that price.

Thanked: 6Its a tough position. I imagine the seller had a minimum in mind but unless you start the bidding low you risk not attracting any bidders. But then if you start low, you run the risk of being forced to sell it low. Reserves help alleviate this but also deter would-be buyers.
There was recently a 7-day wusthof set that went for about $350. Amazing deal for the lucky buyer. Seller might have got burned a bit though.
