I see the seller has mostly pillow cases and sheets and linen things. Trying their hand at selling a story ? It does look really old but really? And the shipping LOL ,good point Dewey. I must start shaping metal in this fashion and throw some wood on it and let it sit outside a year or two. Starting price 2,000 ? I just can't resist that profit margin. IF I didn't have to live with myself I could be rich.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Looks like the seller is fishing to see what someone would pay.
bet ya they will drop it alot everything it don't sell.
I find it's best to just move on and buy other stuff.
I find it's best not to even try and haggle with folks who clearly over price the item.

I agree. Good for amusement, but I usually just move on.

Oh, of course. I would never buy that razor, not without a makers mark, not for 2 grand, not for two hundred. I don't buy stories, I buy razors. I wasn't going to haggle with the guy - just bust his chops a little. Frankly, putting up a price and a story like that is insulting.

The guy probably got it for a song and since it ain't eating anything figured he'd take a shot. Columbus took a chance and look what happened to him.
