What do you think of this large straight razor lot?
I spotted this lot on the Belgian Ebay. It's quite a large lot with 88 diffrent pieces.
GROS LOT DE COUPE CHOUX ET ACCESSOIRES ANCIENS | eBay
Price would be 167$
The straights seems to be in terrible condition but there are also some strops wich seem good to me.
Any comments on the lot?

Thanked: 2591hard to tell the condition of the straights from the pics, they look bad but may be some can be saved.
I can some other items that are interesting, in the end depending on the price it could be a decent buy.
One ting, though, is that now that you draw attention to the lot, there is higher chances others bid on it and the price will go up.That can bad for you, if you are a bidder or good if you are the seller.Stefan

The seller will only ship to Belgium so there will not be so much problems I think. I'm still considering a bid but still not sure though.

Nothing there for me. Maybe if someone wanted to cherry pick and sell the unwanted items. Not worth the asking price to me.

Belgium eh?
If you look carefully, you'll see 2 yellow coticules (I think) and a belgian blue.
For that alone, the 120 euro would be a decent price. If you buy the lot for 120 euro, then all the razors and strops and brushes are just free extras.
If you then sell the coticules, you could keep the rest without having spent any money.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

The majority of the razors and the hanging strops also look in decent enough shape to be made useable, to me. With the coticules and safety razors and other, the beginning price seems very good. But it's hard to tell if the items are in decent shape...even the hones with the pictures given. I'd ask for more photos and names and blade widths of the razors and whether the scales have cracks and size of the hones, etc. Close-ups needed.

My 2cents or 2centimes ... I'm not a big fan of buying 'lots' of razors. I've done it in the past and the majority of them are still in the boxes they were sent in. One iffy razor I could take a hit on; 10 I tend to remember!
