    Default Is this heat damage?

Vintage Wade Butcher 8 8" Straight Razor 3" Long VGPC Barber Tool Cuthroat | eBay

Hard to tell but its also listed as no refunds and the seller doesn't know much about razors. I see what looks like discoloration on this guy but can`t tell if its just tarnished. Any thoughts?

    hard to tell for me.
With the condition and price tag I'd pass on that one.

I don't think so but it ain't even stamped 'barber's use'. The guy is asking too much IMHO.

I'd have to second that I think it is just patination rather than heat damage. But even for a Barbers Use WB that would be way way too expensive IMHO.

Despite the number of pictures the distance between the camera and razor is too far to see anything. I would "assume" its only glare and shadow, but that is just an assumption.
I would also refer you back to Jimmy's posting.

Thanks for the input guys. I was on the fence.. Feeling the withdrawl since I sold my last W&B. I won't be picking this one up for 2 reasons. the price and i'm committed on a custom

With the prices these things are going for these days I don't think their buy it now price is out of whack. but is it something i'm willing to pay? Not really...

For that kind of money, I would be happier with a custom...like the SRP razor.

It looks like this seller loves everything they have for sale. It is all over priced from what I see. Just my 2 cents.
