Thanked: 1184Did you ask the seller for more info ? I bought a nice DD Satinedge from that seller. I think he will be honest with you. If he knows anything more he'll tell you. It looks man made to me but I am not a hone expert at all.

Looks like a Coticule to me....
I'm not sure about the other side. I can't tell if it's BBW or slate.
If you get it, and the blue side raises purple slurry, It's a bbw.
If it's more black looking, then it's slate...We have assumed control !

Thanked: 247I have 3 responses, and couldn't decide which to use. So I'm leaving you with all three.
1: I think it's a coticule. And I think if you want it, you better bring your A game...
2: Honestly since you posted it here, I probably won't bid.
3: No way man, that's one of them India stones..totally useless for razors..Don't waste your time.

I'd bet it's a coticule glued to a bbw.

Thanked: 2204My money is on Coticule/BBW.
But, that is no guarantee that it is a finishing grade. I now have about 14 Coticules. I have encountered 4 that were not finishing grade and only one that was both really hard and fine grit ( It is actually shiny). The last one I purchased was soft and about a 6K grit.
