If the seller was to get $300 per pearl, which is not unusual, he would have over $2,400 with those alone. Some of the figural scaled razors are worth a lot. Notably the shotgun scales. I can't recall the last time I saw one go on the bay but those are rare and bring a lot from dedicated scale collectors. Same with the stub tailed pressed horn.

I'd love to see them piece it out but I imagine they will let it run and field offers while they hope a collector with deep pockets goes for it. I don't think anyone will but ...... whadda I know ?

Reminds me of a daydream of mine involving a mason jar of Cialis and a two week vacation with Kimberly Guilfoyle. Nice to think about, but never, ever gonna happen but seriously there are some absolute beauties in that lot, absolutely beautiful scales.

There would have to be a lottery win for me to even think about that, but there's one there that has given me a good idea for a set of scales with celtic knotwork...

That collection is very typical for someone who is a pure collector and never uses them.
