    Default Cant people read?

I know we have all seen the world renouned "Uram Uplex" razors. But this one just made me laugh a bit to long to ignore.

Far too often ebay sellers will claim that the razors are with thier original box, and they will name the razor based on the box name, not the actual razor.

But this one takes the cake. its a (P)Rice Razor! Just too funny. Nice looking blade, but I think the asking rice is too rich for my blood

Here's another example of where the case identity somehow trumps the razor identity: George Wostenholm Sons Pipe Razor | eBay

Default It takes time to read everything !

I have been chatting with a seller the last few days.
He had this listing Dubl Duck Goldedge Round Point Straight Razor Solinger Leader Germany Size 5 8 | eBay
I looked and saw the razor was ummm well lets just say it was not a DD. I sent him a letter and asked him if he realized the razor was not what he said. I got a nice letter back and if you read the description of the razor you will see he made an honest mistake. In my letters to him I said that many times we think that what it says on the box is IN the box but this is 50/50 chance with razors for some reason. LOL I get another letter from him saying he just sold an omar something or other to a guy and after looking at the archive he did that same thing. By the way somebody in France is going to get a Pakistani razor but your money has already been returned. :<0)

I have contacted four or five sellers about mistakes on their listings, and I'm happy to say all but one was very grateful for the info and updated their listing accordingly. I like to think that most ebayers are decent folks, and it's good to hear I'm not the only one who has had positive interactions like this.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
