    The poster was referring to aframestokyo, not Tamahagane Honsha's sharpening service.

    My Iwasaki was shave ready, but I think that's always the case. Email him and ask, since I think he can do it.

    He has a great selection of razors and some are real gems. How he sets the price on some of them can seem pretty arbitrary, but if you look carefully there can be some good deals.

    My experience with my one purchase was a positive one. I bought a puma razor from him for what I consider to be a very reasonable price and it was in impeccable condition. The item was very well packaged and was shipped to Canada very quickly.

    The seller advertised it as shave ready and this truly wasn't the case. After honing it myself, it is now a superb shaver.
