Kinda difficult to claim 7/8 when the ruler in your pic shows more like 4/8.

more likely 7/16 ... at least he can count to 7 and he got us all to look.... sad thing is his other razor auctions look like he knows how to use a ruler... and that is about it.

Gentlemen....please understand that the seller likely meant that it would be 7/8 after proper restoration. In other words, "that will buff right out"

I sent a message to the seller asking what had been measured to produce the 7/8" measurement; to his/her credit, the seller realized the error and removed the measurement from the listing.

Though I still prefer the post-restoration notion above. What are ya gonna buff out, air? Ha!

Get it hot enough and you can fuse the atoms in air into iron

I dare someone to list a razor like that as a 7/8 with the description "It will buff right in".

It is a complicated procedure involving a lot of burnishing, causing the ductile deformation that has the result of lengthening the distance between the spine and blade, while reducing the width of the blade to an EXTRA hollow.

Very few people can pull this sort of mod off...it requires a whole lot of skill!

I know we're not allowed to discuss values , but the thing I find most funny about this auction , is the BIN price .
