Damn! That's depressing!

I've never seen another Pearson & Co. razor. They were one half of Hawcroft & Pearson. Until this showed up, I'd assumed Samuel Pearson had just left the business when William Hawcroft ditched the partnership in favor of working with his own sons. Knowing about Pearson & Company, I found that they continued at the 61 Eldon street address where Sam and Will started back in 1833, and Pearson & Company well and truly outlived Mr. Hawcroft, who was gored in the head by a bull in 1867.

New fad! Sewing needles with scales on them!! ... But how do we push the scales through?

That's terrible just look at those scales. They are ugly and shot. At least he should have replaced them before putting the razor up for auction.
