Damn! That's depressing!
I've never seen another Pearson & Co. razor. They were one half of Hawcroft & Pearson. Until this showed up, I'd assumed Samuel Pearson had just left the business when William Hawcroft ditched the partnership in favor of working with his own sons. Knowing about Pearson & Company, I found that they continued at the 61 Eldon street address where Sam and Will started back in 1833, and Pearson & Company well and truly outlived Mr. Hawcroft, who was gored in the head by a bull in 1867.-Zak Jarvis. That's terrible just look at those scales. They are ugly and shot. At least he should have replaced them before putting the razor up for auction.
