    Default real or faux turtle?

    Hi guys, can you tell from this picture if its real or faux turtle? Its from an auction so i cant get any better picture

    Looks like plastic. Usually real tortoise color patterns are much larger and softer than that.

    You generally can't be positive based on just a picture, but I would say almost certainly faux tortoise, doesn't quite have the look of real stuff. Coupled with the fact that faux tortoise was popular on the later hollow ground razors, which this is.
