    Looks like the flash has blotted out the etch etc.
    The 2 above have a partial loss also from the flash.

    A bargain at that price when you think about it. It may very well be the last of its kind in existence. How do you put a price on that? and how can one pick up a blade and use it knowing that one false move, and its pristine nature and its uniqueness are forever destroyed? My hands would be shaking too much to risk such treasures!

    i pretty much was thinking the same about being afraid of damage to one .. the way my luck is , id shave all week full of excitement , then Saturday id be all relaxed and start to get careless , finish my shave , wipe down the razor , put it in its box , then knock the box of the counter and CRY !!! ...lol

    I would hone them and use them without hesitation. Otherwise, they're dead things.

    Is the Sistine chapal a dead thing? or the works of Van Gogh or Rembrandt? Those razors are not just tools, they are pieces of art. And there is nothing wrong with appreciating a work of art.
