Default 9/8 W&B Fbu off ebay

Hey guys, check out my latest purchase,
    This one is really hollow!

Oh, and the seller was kind enough to leave me some buffing compound (rouge I believe) on the blade!

Its funny, the blade wasnt overpolished, it looked to be in ok condition but the scales were so mint.. I have the exact same one in 8/8 in good shape aswell that hasnt been buffed.
I didnt take any more pics and the wife is on the way to the post office with it right now.
I wrote them an email saying some thing like "you are a knife shop, you know that a blade with a blown temper is useless"
And I got back "Ya we polished it with semi chrome, return it for a full refund"

So they buffed it, burned it and then buffed out the burn

That takes some kind of balls to knowingly try and sluff something like that off on a customer.

I agree Bob, I feel I should post the sellers name, but I know we have rules about that. Also It was listed as 9/8, before he shipped it I specifically asked if it was 1 1/8" and he said yes, it was only just 17/16.
Ill bet he relists it.. Then Ill be forced to let people know about this shady character.

What are we looking at in this pic? I obviously don't see the flaw from what I'm looking at. I can see that its not shave ready that's for sure.

The toe of the blade was floppy like a piece of paper, I could have bent it 90 degrees with very little effort. I didnt bent it further for fear of it breaking, but it was SOFT!
