I think as it stands at $202 dollars that's a good price for the Filarmonica, but the C. V. HELJESTRAND ESKILSTUNA MK No. 32 at $449 is way over price in my opinion.

"milky white colored scales are crafted from that special natural material that is not bone." for the Heljestrand. I guess that is ivory which cannot be called such because eBay will not allow it.
24 bids and $449 is insane - with 3 days to go. Who are these bidders???

I just finished honing one for a forum member this weekend, almost identical to the one on the Bay, including Ivory scales, I know what he payed for the razor and it and it was nowhere near those kind of prices.

Thanked: 480One thing that I have noticed, is a large number of the razors that are hitting insane prices, all seem to be located in Romania.
Perhaps there is a law that prohibits import of blades, so the supply there is extremely limited?

Thanked: 480Also curious on the Filly, its billed as NOS Mint. But I dont see any Doble Temple gold wash on the blade.
Were there blades made without this? or has this simply been polished up, and the description is mistaken?
