    Default Recently listed this Camillus

Camillus is one of the premier American cutlers, and a New York cutler besides -- once you get past the fact that most of these companies were started by German immigrants. In this case the immigrant was Adolph Kastor, who purchased Camillus in 1902.

I wish I could have sold this in the classifieds, but the software gods presently won't let me. It's got a great edge, looks good too. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

I really wanted to sell this to SRP members -- so I'll let our participants know that the "best offer" price on that auction is set to accept $45.00.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

Thanks much, I appreciate it. Thanks also to SRP for letting me promote that razor in this forum.

You'll find that I'm pretty much a cheerleader for New York razors. To me, they're almost magical, such a superb manufactured product coming from what was a truly rural countryside. The steel is just great.

I agree. I have a Geneva cutlery That is my favorite and #1 in my rotation. That beauty just glides through the hairs smoother than anything I have yet to come across.

And thank you for the quick reply and the unprovoked $5 refund. You are truly out for customer satisfaction and I will gladly do business with you again.
