    Default Did I pay a decent price ....

    Vintage Straight Razor The J R Torrey Razor Co Worcester Mass U s A | eBay

    just wondering , I put this some where else but wanted to get more guidance , I paid 45$ for this razor , I am aware it has some honewear to it , so if I get it honed for me it will be shave ready

    We don't allow price quotes on here, but Torrey's are known good razors and it looks like it will probably hone up well.

    I'm not asking for a quote just some opinions it was my first eBay purchase , I already won it , but thank you , I really like the Torrey , I'm from Worcester ma and love these razors

    It looks like it has experienced heavier honing/wear at the toe, but it will be a perfectly serviceable razor.

    You seriously can't go wrong with a Torrey, I would have who ever hones it, tape the spine so as to not add anymore to the wear, It looks to be in really good shape otherwise. Ebay can be a crap shoot and I think you won this round!

    Thank you for the advice with the tape , I'll make sure that gets done , I feel good about this razor can't wait to use it
