It almost looks like he took a wire wheel grinder to it. Or somebody did... seems like telltale discoloration along the blade frown from it.

I see he lowered the price from $55 to $35. i would maybe bid a dollar for it. If it ships free...

I just looked this up and it has been relisted for about the fourth time with no price reduction.
Is there a lesson to be learnt by this vendor?

Filarmonica's are about the best, but not this one.
It does look like a full 8/8 (mm).My father was an engineer. He used to tell me that sharpening a straight razor is like trying to build a ladder to the moon out of a roll of aluminum foil.
