Default Any info on this custom maker?

I see a couple of razors made by Saddi from Sardinia, Italy listed on ebay. Does anyone have any information or experiences regarding these razors? They look pretty nice, and there is some dscussion regarding the steel used in the fabrication process. I haven't seen anything recently on the forums about these. Thanks

I've never heard of that maker, but a link or pic may help us out

He is a young razormaker, and their razor are chip because are the first pieces that he has produced and could not be perfect or have some trouble.
He is a good man, because when we tell him that we have trouble with his blade, he offer us some pieces free, to try if works better, but at the end, I'm sorry to say that they aren't good razors, save your money.

That's too bad - hopefully he works the kinks out and starts a good production.
    Thanks for the info!

Well, the two I saw on eBay right now are almost up to $300 each, so somebody thinks they are good. They do look nicely made at least.

IMHO When it comes to straight razors, achieving the looks is way easier than achieving utility.

    I haven't see that, but on ebay.it are around 0,99 € each.

The troubles with this razors are that they don't come shave ready and are impossible to hone, I don't know if this is caused from a bad tempering treatment or what.
The second thing is the handle, is really heavy, too much heavy, seem like a knife handle, and this is comprehensible because they are knifemaker, that just now are starting to produce razors.

Here is the link of maker auction, the other one of 300$ is not the maker, but someone that play dirty.
