    From one newbie to others...

Do not use your brush by pushing too hard on the skin of the face - this will cause irritation and a rash that lasts far too long.

I thought I learned this lesson two weeks ago when I started using the brush and soap - but alas, I had to reteach myself the lesson.

    Learn from my mistake!

This is especially true with plastic and boar bristled brushes.

Hey now... I squash my boar brush against my face with abandon when lathering and don't get any irritation. This must be one of those "different people-different skin types" things.
