Thanked: 0Rust management
Hello. I have several straight razors that i have picked up at flea markets that i put on display. Some of these are are great shape, but i have 2 that do have rust problems, i am looking for a way to stop the active rust without damaging the razor, I scratched off all the red rust, but there is a deeper black rust underneath that i am having trouble getting off, also how can i stop my razors from growing rust if i am not using them every day.
thanks~ collan

try a real fine sand paper to remove the rust. Then a polishing compound to bring back the shine. Finally add a light coat of oil to the blade.
