Mine is fixed to a doorhandle by a leather thong, the height is just right for me.

I'm reading this as 'thanks for the advice, everyone [but] carlmaloschneider I have anchored it to a door handle..
Or shoud I read it as 'thanks for the advice, everyone but carlmaloschneider :-)
Anyway, paracord is really strong stuff, isn't it? The strop has a swivel anyway, doesn't it? The carabiner allows one to remove the strop really easily, of course.
I'm guessing you're not a sniper :-)
Good luck and be safe.
ha i meant your first interpretation, and no not a sniper ha intelligence. and the strop has a swivel with a clip that goes to a ring loop thats where the paracord is attached
nah i figured it out, if you read on the site they say that the razors just simply are not sold with the stickers anymore
This is what i attach mine to. I have it at a good height which is different than my door handle. My bathroom door doen't have a lock and i don't trust it not opening. Plus i supported a local blacksmith!

It seems as if you're doing a good job. How does it shave, that is the ultimate test? It appears that you're using a little pressure with the stropping hand and that is generally not advised...however if it works for you go for it. I use a little, just enough that I can feel the draw. However I do relax the strop a smidghen, especially when honing a wedge, it seems to work better for wedges. However, these are all finer points that you will develop on your own. Your doing a good job now, just remember to be non-tentative and confident and you'll do fine. Also remember to treat the strop several times a day using the oils of your palm, it really does break it in faster and increases the draw on the blade.Good Luck.
