Thanked: 1Breakthrough!!!!
So had a breakthrough with tonight's shave it was my 4th since coming off the shavette to the SR I've always had a problem with the soap drying up on me and having to re apply even when I went to a nice cream I'd brush it on and by the time I got to my neck it would be flaking off. And I've been getting great smooth shaves on my face all along but my neck was always leaving me wanting more but the razor would always chatter on my upstroke causing me to be a little nervous and quit early or just finish up even tho I wasn't happy. So tonight's shave was finishing up in the same fashion so I decided to call it and splashed some water on my face and BOOM!! my face had this very slick layer of very little soap an lots of water on it so I pulled my SR back out and did a complete Against the grain pass with nothing but that an it was like shaving on glass very nice smooth strokes and my face was the smoothest I have ever gotten with a shavette or SR. I know every one says LOTS of water well I thought I had that. (I didn't). Well I needed to share this because I am thrilled.

Thanked: 5Nice. It's great when you see sudden improvement. I have the most problems with my neck. So quite often I start with my neck when the blade is freshly stropped and my hands are at their steadiest.

Love it when a plan comes together. Now for the dry shave...
