Default Razor stands too expensive - made my own!

    Greetings!

Frustrate by the prices demanded by a few pieces of bent and spot-welded wire, I decided to make my own razor stand out of a coat hanger like I've seen some folks here on SRP do instead. Took me almost exactly 40mins: I just bent it with needle-nose pliers and "re-painted" the coating that fell off at the bends/creases with white-out. Needless to say, I'm somewhat proud of the way it turned out.

So very glad to see ingenuity is alive and well in SRP. Made something similar as a stop gap till a couple of brushes arrive and I finish rearranging my shaving junk area. Good work there, sir. Like the base bending for support.

If I tried doing something like that I'd have a pile of spaghetti.

Any stability problems when putting them on or taking them off? If so, maybe a nice chunk of scrap walnut nicely sanded and stained for a base?

Looks nice, I made some razor stands in a similar but not so flash manner. I like the scales on your razor too by the way.
