My razor was allegedly shave ready when I first got it. As mentioned in my introduction, my circumstances changed and it ended up being left in the bathroom cabinet for two years where, in its box, it developed a few rust spots and some patina. As I await the arrival of my strop I'm wondering if the two years of neglect mean the razor should be honed? Or will it be enough to subject the blade to my novice stropping technique?
