Greetings from Brazil to all wet shaving community
Hi everybody, I have been into straight razor shaving 2 years before I got my first straight razor, until june of this year all I did was look at the videos, the forum (I honestly lost the count on how many times I came to SRP to learn what all of you guys have to teach), and the websites that sell straight razors. I finally gathered up some courage and bought my first razor from Lynn, man my first shave with it was just awesome, of course I didn't do a full shave, got a few razor burns, red face, etc. But I have to say, from the first pass I knew I was never going back to cartriges razors. I am now a very proud owner of a Dovo Flowing and a Dovo Bismarck, as well as a norton 4k/8k and a naniwa 12k, not to mention the brushes, soaps and the strop (ass you guys can see wet shaving became a passion in my life). To all of the brazilians that have experienced the same frustration of not finding stores, websites or anything even close to straight razor shaving, I say to go to SRD or shavenation and buy from Lynn, it's not that hard and you will not regret.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum and wish all of you guys a great day and a great shave.

Welcome to SRP William. I must say that's a lot of research! . I hope all future shaves are successful. If your razor burn persists try to lower your angles while shaving.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

Thanks Brenngun, most of those two years I spent trying to find some place that sells straight razors, but here in Brazil there is absolutely none, so I just decided "to hell with it" , then I went to shavenation and SRD and bought the whole set (strops, stones, pastes, brushes), the waiting part was the worst (over 20 days) I remember tracking my order every day. Thanks, I will post a photo of my gear soon. Have a nice day.

Welcome, William. Glad you found this site. You know how to deal with it for information already. Being in Brazil amidst a dearth of suppliers did it ever occur to you to become a Brazilian importer of straight razors and associated goods for all of South America? Just a thought.
