Newbie to straight razor shaving, awesome!
Hi all.
I hail from South Africa, and although I have been a shaver for a couple of years, I want to try my hand at straight razor shaving. Am very excited, bought a brush and soap already yesterday, now to look for a nice razor. Great forum you have here, and am learning a lot!

Welcome and keep an eye on the classifieds. Also make sure that what ever you purchase that it's made "shave ready" and don't strop it before using it for the first time.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.
