Thread: Why???!!!!

On earth didn't god give Eve the apple instead of Adam!? Its not like she is stuck trying to shave around the damn thing!

On a plus note was first straight shave that was on par if not better than a cartridge, so the results are slowly coming along after a couple of weeks. Angles and lather were the key

There was just a post about shaving around adams apple.
Something along the lines of 1/2 swallowing and holding your breath or something? FLATTENS it out...
I am SURE someone will say EXACTLY what they do soon...

Very simple, I use a DE there. Yes you can flatten it by kind of doing a half swallow but in my case it's way too pronouced and pointy. I can do the sides but the main part gets the DE.

Pronounced adams apple? You guys just need to eat more eggs and bacon

On a more serious note; stretching the skin sideways works great for me.

More bacon it is....haha.
Yeh mines got more point than my razor. Used to sometimes nick it with cartridge even but with a straight its the only pass that gets me nervous!

Another vote for this simple technique. I stretch to the right with my right hand and to the left with my left hand and, voila, clean shaven adam's apple.

Thanks for the advice, helped alot tonight. Also when it felt like there was just no comfortable way to hold the razor and get the right angle for that pass, stopped. Walked out the room, come back and got it in one comfortable pass!
Technique for solving and approaching problems works great for me.
