Thanked: 0Worth?
I came across my Great Grandfather's straight razors:
I have 3 Carl Klass 52 straight razors - (1)clean, but not perfect, (2) blades are spotted + handles soiled.
I also have a Pilgram XXX staight razor from marked Foery & Bauer Brooklyn NY/ M.I. Germany. I think the handle is bone, and has some scroll work on both ends.
Does anyone out there know the value of these, when they were made etc? I haven't located any on Ebay, but I am amazed what some of the othes sell for.
Also have an old brown box says Soiinger Germany Black Diamond/ numbered 8611Last edited by Lisamack; 10-08-2013 at 06:50 PM.

Go back to Ebay. Go to advanced search and type in your razors and check the completed listings box and then search. What someone will have paid is what they could be worth.
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 12Valuations are not allowed in the forum. also if you would like an Evaluation on the condition of the razors some pictures would be a good idea. Having said those two things... I would let you know that having heirloom razors to someone who can/will shave with them is a VERY meaningful thing. So my recommendation would be to keep them.

Invaluable... Save them for your kid, if you aren't going to use them... Put them in a picture frame... It was something from your grandfather..
