Hi again!

I´ve been on the look for a strop for my self for some time. I found that it is virtually impossible in europe to find 3" strops for some reason, so I will order the strop from the states.
Now I wanted to ask for opinions on the superiorshave's split side strops.

Has anyone used these before, and can someone vouch for them;




I was originally about to buy Straight Razor Designs 3" Premium II Leather Strop but as the sites lack other items I am about to buy I am looking for one shop to make my purchases from (Due to shipping costs).

My first strop was a 3" hanging strop. Aside from the issues I had with the strops leather, I had difficulty learning to strop with it.

So, to learn stropping and eliminate that variable of a poorly stropped edge and bad shave, I bought a bench strop which was 3", great leather, and had rubber legs *and* I didn't break the bank. I am so happy with it. I strop every night like a zombie. My fingers and wrists now have the "muscle memory".

I haven't heard of the vendor you're linking to nor see it mentioned in any other thread, BUT I trust the SRP Vendor from which I bought my strop.

Just type walking horse strop in the search box and all threads mentioning it will come up. I was looking at them at one stage. Pretty sure the were well liked but have a search and make up your own mind.
