    I should also say that in addition to the pain etc, it used to take me an age to shave I almost packed sandwiches to take to the bathroom to eat mid shave to keep me going

    'Pain is just weakness leaving the body'. Once the scar tissue sets up, you'll be ok.

    I do have a scar across the underside of my chin, and as far as I can remember I have never had any soreness there, but conversely there is no hair to shave either...
