    Default First Shave

Greetings! First shave is in the books. I know that on the first shave it is recommended to start with a small section on the face, but it's huntin season around here and tradition holds that you don't shave the face 'til it's over. I started with my neck and had a decent go of it 'til I got sliced a little whilst tryin to use my left hand. I ended up finishin my right side with my right hand and it went much smoother. Over all, I enjoyed the process completely... from soap to strop.

    Congratulations

As long as you wont be leaving a blood trail it is all good. The recommendations are there to guide you through an gentle learning curve, not to tell you this is the only way.

The worst cuts come from inattention, being mindful of the razor at all times will minimize problems.

For the last day of hunting season might I suggest a scene inspired by How to clear out a bath house 101.

Thanks! I have to admit, the cut was due to inattention. My baby girl was doin some hootin and hollerin, but that's ok. But, they aren't kiddin around when they say those jokers are sharp.

The story linked is hilarious! It is funny how inanimate objects can strike fear into folks.

    Thank you for your response~
