    In days past most barber schools had a working shop and the public could come in and get a shave and haircut for practically nothing. You didn't even have to sign a waiver-har har.

    I shaved a balloon with my first ever razor before trying it on myself. It went pretty well, but probably didn't really help with learning to shave myself. I guess what it did do though was give me some confidence that I had a steady hand.

    And in the end, confidence is important so if you need to shave a balloon to get some confidence, go shave a balloon. If it works out OK and you don't pop it, take note of the angles you used and the grips that worked. Those kinds of things are important.

    If you do decide to shave a balloon you may want to do it outside. Or plan on being the one to clean up due to rapid lather Implosion.

    I remember in Barbers College we practiced the 14 on cream covered balloons but it wasn't part of the state boards. Just the big Three... Sanitation,sanitation,and of course sanitation. Barbicide is not only great for sanitizing all items it can strip the shine off a pair of boots quicker than you can blink.

    I'm confused!

    How often do I have to shave my balloon if I get one?

    Should I tape the balloon?

    Does it need to rest?
