I usually switch my scents up rather then the type of product as I find soaps and creams equally well suited for winter time shaving. Momma bear has Some nice winter time scents, there's northwoods camp and various other Christmas / holiday inspired scents... I think she even offers Siberian spruce EO soap which has got to be as winter as it gets.... I too use splashes through out winter as I use alum as well- I will confess that using a lotion after all is Sao and done isn't a bad idea though- which is something I typically omit in the summer months..

All in all change of seasons for me means giving the lemon, lime, bay rum, menthol, kelp etc etc soaps a rest and bring in te warmer sandelwood, opus X, Musk, tabac type scents.
