Thanked: 485'Need' is a difficult term. You could certainly JUST use the Norton 4/8 (or similar) but you'd go well to get a higher grit hone too for touchups. I have little experience on a range of hones as I've only used the Norton 4/8 and Shapton 16k, but I find I have no need to get anything different.
