Thread: Glued

Hello all, I was reading some more threads on here and my wife walked by and asked "Are you going to read every post they have?" Lol She was saying that because I have read about 50 or more a day, about everything from shaving to restoration and brush making to well pretty much everything there is a thread about. I said "Yeah I find all this awesome! (my 80's lingo coming through) looking at all the amazing and beautiful blades, brushes, etc that are on here is like eye candy. Lol I also love all the humor on here as well and seeing that even the masters sometimes make mistakes makes me feel not as nervous. I would love nothing better than when I get more proficient that I would LOVE to try restoration seeing the razors before and after, seeing how beautiful a razor can look in the hands of the people that love them. I also love how if someone is having problems with something that no one makes them feel stupid for making the mistake or not knowing a way to make it work they just say "Hey try this, hope this helps, and good luck!" Like everyone here is family and no one is unwelcome. I wish the world was as amazing as the people on here. I just wanted to say that, and how happy I am to be a part of your family

Those are several of the reasons I enjoy this forum as much as I do.
The sharing of experience and knowledge is great as well as the camaraderie.

I still get lost in the archives here and probably will for a long time to come.

Glad to have you on board. I would have to agree that this is a forum full of some great folks.

You might be surprised at how many hours I spent just reading threads here When I first found the place. And then I actually became a member and spent even more hours on here, reading, and eventually adding to the reading.

Just tell her that information is power and it is better to learn from others mistakes rather than making them all yourself, and you want all the best information to save the mistakes when you feed any inevitable A.D's you may contract with this way of life.

Actually forget telling her that bit about any A.D's, you can save that little talk for later down the track, when you will need all the power you can muster to convince her that your acquisitions are justified LOL.

Hmm, both ed h, both spend.hours here, both from Perth, both get hassled for time.spent on forum, both shun facebook. Oh, both Australian (well I am almost )
