Thread: Thanksgiving

As a beginner, I put this post in the Beginner part of the Forum, but moderators please feel free to move it.

As we approach Thanksgiving here in the US every year, I always think back on people and events that have made my year special, that I ought to give thanks for. Of course, as do many, ...I have the usual things for which to be thankful...friends, family, health and life in a great place here on the eastern edge of the US.

However this year, SRP and the many people who share their experiences and lessons on the forum and the wiki and elsewhere on the site are on my list, if, for no other reason, that by luck, I pulled out a 30 year old SR and strop, realized I had never really known what I was doing when I shaved with it in those 30 years ago in the 20th century, and thought I'd put Straight Razor Shaving in Google, and lo and behold came up with SRP!

Thank you all for all you have taught me since I first found the site last summer, and thanks to Lynn and Don for making my old Hoffritz razor new again, and making my new razors (yes I have RAD) even better (a double edge is on the way).

I now come here daily, not only to learn, but to share, and yes even for entertainment. God bless you all as we move toward the end of 2013 and the beginning of a new year.

Everyday I wake up on the right side of the grass is Thanksgiving.
