I know it is a tough statement. Most razors say they are shave ready, but most seem more like user friendly but not necessarily shave ready. Most Razors take some time to get used to. Care, strop, prep, shaving etc. are all very important. I know that finding the honing service that works best for an individual. The good news about SRD, they will let you send razor back for another honing also. This allows you the user to use it and maybe try to maintain some, like stropping and when it stops producing a quality shave send it back. I am not bashing all vendors or anything like that. Just trying to suggest a great place to get started, and then to also find a great honing tradesman.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.
