Thread: Straight Razor Storage Box?

Does anyone know of a good source for an affordable straight razor storage box? I know that I could make one from a cigar box, but it is probably easier to buy one if they are readily available at a decent price. Thanks in advance.

Someone said there is a pen box at CVS for a few bucks.

9 bucks at cvs you have to make inserts for it but it's easy to do... This is for my seven day set... I have another one where both the top and bottom has inserts to carry 14 razors

It's sturdy, displayable, stackable, lockable, and cheap... I bought four.., I have big plans :-)

Wow! That one above from CVS is sweet! Not sure if there is anything to add but I have a car stereo face-plate plastic case/box that works to hold 2-3 razors... Same thing where you have to use something to make inserts but, otherwise, good and sturdy case that you can often find cheap or free.

... I picked one up from eBay a while back and it is really nice! These must be huge cigars or tubes because even SR's in boxes fit in there and then slightly stack over to one side but the case is monster big, super padded and really looks great just sitting there. I threw in a few dessicant packs top and bottom and the thing is working perfect!

No pictures but Ive seen guys doll up cigar boxes and humidors. Some with felt, gluing dividers, and Ive even seen at least one where they cut foam to fit like a tool box. I have a few empty humidors(only 1 full) that Ive been thinking about.

You could make a stand yourself, if you'd like. I really enjoy mine, pieced together from some free wood I got.

Careful, or the squirrels may steal your blades. You can tell which, he will be the naked squirrel.

Picked these up fot $1 each at the local purveyor. Notice the nifty dividers. He's going to set some aside for me instead of throwing them out.

You can always ask someone on here to make one according to your wishes and specifications. I had mine done by RoyalCake and couldn't be more satisfied!

How did you make the insert? Looking to do this or similar in a cigar box. If you could share, that would be awesome. Thank you in advance
