    Your welcome, btw Classicshaving does not have a return policy on razors. If you run into trouble ask them for a direct contact to the manufacturer. If you really get stuck you can send the razor to me and I'll try and repair it. If I can't you can send it out to Joe Chandler, good luck.

    Sounds a lot like the blade is warped. If the blade's beveled edge is touching down against a table top at the heel and toe, there should be no clearance between the table top and the edge at any point down the length of the edge.

    I cannot tell you what to do but if I were in your shoes, I'd just send the razor back and have it exchanged for another. As a newbie, I'd avoid trying to mess around with the blade to fix this because once you've started tampering with the blade, they won't take it back. It's best to start fresh.
