Thread: New member from Alabama.

Hey guys, new member and just recently heard about the site and think it is awesome. It'd be nice if someone in my area would be willing to offer advice on this hobby and teach me a few things about the art of straight razors and straight razor shaving. Thanks.

Welcome to SRP. It's a very giving group so I'm sure someone in your area will get in touch. You can also post any questions you have for the general membership to respond regardless of how newbieish you may think they would be. Most here understand you have to start somewhere so they won't flame you. Oh and .......... "Roll Tide".

Welcome! Straight razor shaving can be a slippery slope. Before you know it you'll be acquiring straight razors, hones, brushes, creams, soaps, mugs, ...

It's all a lot of fun and the folks here are tremendous. It's a straight razor brotherhood.

Welcome to SRP! As others have said..."welcome to your new addiction", lol. What part of Alabama do you live in? I'm in Auburn. Always happy to help in any way I can.
