Yes, now, against all my plans, now that I've acquired a Norton 4000/8000, a Naniwa 3k, and a Naniwa 12k, plus two razors from a local ad, I'm reading more and more about honing, and with each article, I get more and more lost...have watched some video's on using the coticule, the unicot and delicot(?) method, a blur of action and confusion for me...
So next step will be to watch a couple of Glen's video's and practice on the Timor, 6/8 "Blue Steel" razor (why do I think of the movie, "Zoolander"??) I got with the stones, seems to be a razor to somewhat avoid, it looks pretty though, haven't heard great things about them...the little 4/8 Kropp is nice in wood scales, seems to nice to destroy at my hands...so, guess I'll watch Glen's video's and if I don't get it perfect the first time, I'll blame him....
