First Straight Razor
My first razor and equipment just showed up! Just waiting on my brush and stand to come in. Should be here any day now, can't wait to start shaving!

Hi
Im a newbie as well, would be interested in a newbie's thoughts on your gear/shave cream etc, and your first shave. Please keep us posted
I've ordered some gear but still waiting for it to arrive. I picked up some truefitt & hill unscented shave cream, plus their shave soap in a nice wooden bowl, and also their lime shave cream in a tube, but still waiting for the cheap sight-unseen razor & strop from Larry at whipped dog. From what Ive read here the truefitt & hill shave cream/soap is great but yet to try it. What razor and strop did you go for?
On a side note, What is Indiana like (to live in / vs to visit on holiday)?
