Just a short update.

I tried a couple more times before realizing that I just was not happy with the edge. It is likely I buggered it while stropping as this is a brand new gig for me.
I called Phil at Classic Edge and the guy phoned and talked to me for over 15 minutes! I was impressed and he is going to re-hone for free minus shipping.

I'll get back to this thread after I get it back and try again.
