Both halves of this statement are very true. Some setbacks and frustration will occur on your wet shaving journey, but do not get discouraged. Every time you concur a straight razor hurdle, it feels awesome. You'll almost want to have problems thrown at you just so you can overcome them and feel great every time you touch a straight razor!

The hardest spots for me right now are my upper lip and the bottom of my chin. Once I get the areas down I should be golden and might consider tackling my head instead of using disposables.

Novinaj1, congratulations on making it through your first shave. I just actually just finished my first 5 minutes ago. I got through mine without a nick, but I do have a little burn on my neck. I think I might have been fighting the grain as my hair grows in at an awkward angle.

Sounds like a good start. Enjoy the rush but don't let your early success lead you down the path of over confidence. You won't like what's at the end of that path.

Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

I'm glad to hear that it went well
Yes, the chin is a bitch. I cant say that the chin is a breeze for me yet but it gets better.
