-low razor angle, keep spine close to skin,
-wet lather, keeps hair easy to cut and helps with cushion and glide, hot or room temp. Works for me,
-shave ready razor, with SRD it should be OK,
-no skin pressure, think of brushing hair off a very fragile object, pressure causes nicks and irritation,
-skin stretching raises hairs and flattens the skin,
-try stroke from a different direction on difficult spots rather than the same direction over and over again.
-let your skin heal then try again,
-keep it fun, build skill on spots that work, finish with DE or usual razor. Gradully expand onto difficult spots as proficiency develops.
